Dr. Joseph (Joe) Malken is an applied physicist, MIT graduate, and expert in intelligent manufacturing technologies. He serves as the Managing Director of Manor Engineering USA, leading the company’s North American operations from its headquarters in California.
Joe joined the company with a shared vision alongside founder Eyal Manor — to bridge scientific excellence with industrial innovation and bring cutting-edge AI solutions into real-world manufacturing environments.
A former senior officer in a classified unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Joe brings with him deep operational experience in advanced defense technologies. His military background, combined with academic and research excellence, shaped his multidisciplinary approach to engineering and leadership.
Following his service, Joe led applied research in sensing and control systems, later transitioning to the industrial sector, where he led high-level projects in software and hardware development, automation, and industrial AI.
Today, he spearheads Manor Engineering’s expansion in the U.S. market, manages strategic partnerships across the U.S., Europe, and Israel, and leads cross-functional teams on high-impact technology initiatives.
